Mpumy Ndlovu is a Storyteller based in KwaZulu Natal (Durban). She was trained as a storyteller at Kwesukela Storytelling Academy. She has since done storytelling performances in schools, museums, and theatres. In 2010 she represented KwaZulu Natal as a Storyteller during the Soccer World Cup. She has performed as a storyteller at the Articulate Africa Festival. In 2018 she was an ambassador of the Nali’bali Storybosso. She has also written stories that she staged at the Catalina Theatre in Celebration of Heritage Month. She works with schools and communities to train young storytellers, and to keep the culture of storytelling burning. She has shared a screen for YoTV news and Nali’bali Stories with the young kids she has trained. Mpumy is also an actress who has been seen on TV shows such as Uzalo as (Jabulile), and Durban Gen and is currently on Lingashoni Season 1. She also does radio drama and is currently on a radio drama at Ukhozi FM titled Ingwijikhwebu.
