Noko Mashilo

Noko Mashilo is a spirit-led writer and a well-established journalist and photographer. He has been specializing in feature writing for over two decades, where he wrote for a number of printed media like Sowetan, Bona magazine, Succeed SA magazine, Citizen, City Press, Mail and Guardian and also Daily Sun. When he was a Public Relations student at TECHNIKON SA, now UNISA, he won Sowetan Ubuntu writing Competition in conjunction with Mageu Number One in his second year. The following year he won a photography competition, City in Ruins, with City Press in conjunction with AGFA. When Noko is not writing or taking photos, he runs his own multimedia company, Picture Hello, with the primary services of still photography, videography, communication, media and Public Relations. His secondary service is printing. Today he is here as a Heavy Weight Public Speaker. His topic is Mild Intellectual Disability.
