The city of Durban is once again preparing to welcome the magic of imagination, creativity and childhood wonder as the 3rd International Storytelling Children’s Bookfair returns from 21–23 November 2025. This year’s event promises to be the most vibrant yet — a joyful gathering of authors, illustrators, and storytellers committed to nurturing a love of reading among young people.
Hosted at the Onomo Conference Venue, the Bookfair brings together an inspiring blend of creative voices, each passionate about telling stories that celebrate heritage, identity, and the everyday experiences of African children. Over three days, guests will enjoy book launches, storytelling sessions, creative talks, talent showcases, and dynamic reading sessions aimed at young readers and families.
