Rotondwa Netshidane

Storyteller

Rotondwa is a performing artist with a wide experience in the performing arts that began in primary school. After school, he immersed himself in Community Theatre where he specialized in play writing and directing. Through the Mighty African Theatre (the first theatre company in the community of Lawley), he mentored and groomed the young people aged 6 years and up interested in the arts. He honed his skills as a storyteller, poet and percussionist as part of Zanendaba Storytellers and participated in various festivals and human development initiatives. He’s worked as a trainer for FXB, a South African and French initiative of developing performing artists. He is a member of KASMEDIA Community Films, an initiative that’s a pre-professional platform to young people who want to venture into the field of media and entertainment.
