Vanessa Bower is a storyteller based in Ekurhuleni. She’s been telling stories for 20 years. She has participated in the International School of Storytelling courses held in SA. Vanessa has told stories in schools and performed with Nomsa Mdlalose and Bongiswa Kotta at the launch of the Freedom Park Museum. She was associated with the Sibikwa annual storytelling festival as a storyteller and workshop facilitator.
She is a member of the Johannesburg Storytelling Circle, with whom she has performed in children’s homes, retirement villages and public venues.
